• Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices Part 2 (ICND2)
• Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI)
•  or equivalent experience with an understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols.

After completing this course the delegate should be able to:

• Present the functions uses and capabilities of the C10000 series router.
• Define the various leased-line access architectures that use the Cisco 10000 series.
• Demonstrate a functional understanding of the C10000 series hardware components, their interconnection, dependencies and features.
• Provide a functional description of the PRE and PXF including their architecture, header forwarding and packet processing.
• Use PXF and Cisco IOS commands to track and monitor system traffic.
• Describe and verify the operation of PRE redundancy on the Cisco 10000 series router.
• Configure clear channel and channelised interfaces in T3, T1, E1 SONET and SDH environments.
• Configure and verify the operation of hierarchical and regular QoS policies on the Cisco 10000 series router. 
  

The course will focus on the customers use of a high density aggregation router, the hardware, and software components developed to meet that need. Practical in-depth, hands-on exercises are structured to provide students with the skills required to install, configure and troubleshoot the C10000 series router.
